GIPPSLAND ROTARY CENTENARY HOUSE - ARRIVAL

On Arrival

  • If you intend arriving during the weekend you will need to make special                                                            arrangements with Carol Crewe, our House Manager, during normal working  hours (8.30am to 4.00pm).

  • Off street parking, including disability parking, is available adjacent to the house.

  • At the earliest opportunity our House Manager or a volunteer will give you an introduction to the features of the House and make you aware of mutual  obligations while staying here. If you have any issues please do not hesitate to   seek help. Our objective is to help you and minimise your concerns.                 Your positive feedback is encouraged so we can continually improve the service we provide.

  • You will be issued a key which will give you access to the front sliding door of the House and your room. During normal working hours the front door is automatic, but it is locked at other times. If the door is locked, insert the key in the lock on the left hand side of the door and turn. The door will open to allow you in, but will dead lock when it closes. To exit the building outside normal working hours, press the GREEN BUTTON on the left hand side of the door panel. Again the door will open and will close and dead lock. Please ensure you take your key with you when you leave.

  • Your must lock your rooms if you wish to secure it and you are responsible for your valuables. A $20 deposit is required to be lodged at the time the key is issued, which will be returned when the key is returned on departure.

  • Your room will be made up ready for your arrival, however you will be responsible for keeping your room tidy and it’s cleaning during your stay. A vacuum cleaner and cleaning products are available on in the laundry.

  • A notice board is located on the wall outside the Manager’s Office beside the reception; please check it on arrival and at regular intervals for any notices or messages.

  •  A guest and visitor log book is located on the reception desk. You must sign in and out each time you enter or leave the facility.

  • Please arrange to complete and sign application for travel & accommodation assistance if you qualify. GRCH will collect this subsidy on your behalf.
